Grab a complimentary ride, and shop on the go from your phone

THE HOTSPOT
This Fashion Week, hop into a Lancôme-branded glam taxi to score a complimentary ride anywhere in Manhattan, while enjoying a high-tech shopping experience. (A purchase is not required for a ride.) Each taxi will run a two-minute video demonstrating one of two beauty looks: The Bold Lip, or Easy Eyes. You can shop the featured products right there in the back seat, with just a couple clicks of your phone.
To shop with your phone in the Lancôme Mobile Taxi Shops, follow these three steps:
1. Download the Glamour Friends & Fans app at The App Store or Android Market.
2. To purchase a product or look, hover your phone over the SnapTag in the taxi.
3. Check out via the app, and you’re done!
THE SCHEDULE
In addition to hailing a branded taxi anywhere that you see one, you can also try one of three Glamour taxi stands: Lincoln Center, The Standard Hotel, and Condé Nast. The stands will operate daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
GUESTLIST
With a Glamour taxi stand situated right in front of women’s publishing giant: Condé Nast, expect to glimpse fashion and beauty editors rushing between shows in stilettos, with Starbucks in hand.
EXTRA DETAILS
The taxi fleet will be sponsored in partnership with Glamour magazine. Lancôme kicks off the promotion from February 9th to February 13th, and then Yves Saint Laurent Beauté (YSL) will brand the second fleet of taxis, which will run until the end of Fashion Week on February 16th.
