THE HOT SPOTS: While the fashion in-crowd waits anxiously for NY Fashion Week, it’s the beauty junkies who count down the days until Nordstrom’s Cosmetics Trend Show. Luckily, the count is only two weeks away until Nordstrom Michigan Avenue hits the runway to present spring’s best new products.

THE SCHEDULE: You know you’re a beauty devotee if you set your alarm clock to get you to Nordstrom’s Michigan Avenue’s Cosmetics Trend Show, “Beauty Getaway,” at 7:00am on Saturday, March 3, 2012. Only a few things can get wake you from your beauty rest, and one of them is to watch and listen to famed industry experts speak about the latest and greatest in make-up, skincare and fragrance. 

Ticket holders start lining up at the doors at 6:30 in the morning to get a front-row seat to the excitement. There will be coffee and pastries available to fuel you for the approximately 60 minute show, to which afterwards you can explore all the new products you just heard about. Tickets for the event are $15, which is redeemable for products after the show. To purchase tickets, stop by your favorite cosmetic or fragrance counter, and book your appointment for your makeover and beauty lesson!

There will be nothing but exhilaration on this runway, and all attendees will also receive a gift for attending the show. Plus, some fortunate guests will even win some amazing goodies (so definitely sit in the front rows!)

THE GUEST LIST: Any Chicagoan who loves all things hair, skin and make-up. Whether you are 15 or 75, this is the place to be to hear about beauty highlights.
